What You Can Expect at The Dempster Clinic-Centre for Functional Medicine
Communication – At The Dempster Clinic-Centre for Functional Medicine, our primary means of communication are e-mail and telephone (416-551-9577). When emailing and/or calling the clinic, you can expect a response within 24 business hours. Please note that emails are for administrative related questions, or to clarify for an existing treatment (i.e. question on dosage, when to take, etc.). As per Ontario Naturopathic regulations, any
questions regarding nutritional, medical, or health advice can only be addressed via a followup appointment.

Monday: 11am-8pm
Tuesday: 10am-7pm
Wednesday: 8am-5pm
Thursday: 8am-5pm
Friday: 9am-1pm
OHIP and Insurance Coverage: The Dempster Clinic-Centre for Functional Medicine is focused on nutritionally supporting those with painful chronic degenerative and autoimmune problems. We do not accept, bill, or file insurance claims at our clinic. Please check with your insurance provider directly for any coverage you may have.
Laboratory Testing: Dr. Dempster, ND utilizes various functional medicine laboratory tests to evaluate your current health status. This type of testing is extremely specific compared to traditional lab tests, and some customized panels are not available elsewhere. Dr. Dempster, ND is very discerning in his choice of labs and has developed a strong relationship with chosen lab providers. As part of your client care, all lab test kits are provided through The Dempster Clinic-Centre for Functional Medicine. Please see our Lab Packet for more information on the specific tests offered.
Appointments: After your initial 1-hour appointment, you can expect to have a minimum of 2 follow up appointments. Further appointments may be required and will be booked as needed to help you achieve your specific health goals.
Due to Dr. Dempster’s, ND schedule and the time it takes for the samples to process, it may be 3-6 weeks until your next appointment. Each followup appointment is 30 minutes long. We do offer longer follow-up appointments if needed. If you feel that you have more information to cover than a regular 30-minute appointment will allow, please request a longer appointment at the time of booking with our administrative staff.
